Enemy is probably the most genuinely confusing film I've ever watched and yet I loved just about every second of it. This film nailed the chilling, creepy and thrilling environment which made this film in a way unsettling to watch. This is also probably one of the greatest shot films I've seen in a long time, like seriously every shot in this film is a beautiful piece of art.
I also love that this movie uses so much imagery and symbolism to enhance the storytelling, it creates another level of artistry that makes this film just fun to watch. Also, the ideology surrounding this film was incredible, from the dictatorship speech to the idea of one part of yourself subconsciously battling with another part of yourself this film really does give you a lot to think about afterwards. I also like most of the dialogue in this film and I think the writing was solid. I loved the cast and the way Jake Gyllenhaal played his character/s was incredible.

I loved how both versions of himself represented two different and unique versions of himself so two characters had completely different personalities which is why it felt like they were two different people. I really just think Enemy was a fantastic, rough and a weirdly beautiful film. Even though this movie was extremely confusing it managed to keep my undivided attention and because of that, I noticed a lot of great little things that made this film much better and much more entertaining!

The one thing is, knowing all the theories and understanding the film more it doesn't take the film to another level like you'd think it would. That isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does prove that you can watch a movie without completely understanding it while still appreciating the piece of cinema for what it is, what it does and some of the sophisticated ideas it presents!
